Part Time Cowboy

Book 1 of Copper Ridge

A contemporary small-town romance in which former wild-child Sadie Miller returns to Copper Ridge, Oregon, after a decade away, determined to open a bed-and-breakfast on land owned by the Garrett family. Her landlord turns out to be Eli Garrett, the uptight deputy sheriff who once arrested her as a teenager, and the two are forced into close contact despite years of friction between them. As old assumptions break down, their sharp banter gives way to real attraction and eventually something deeper. It's the first book centered on the Garrett siblings, launching the broader Copper Ridge series.
