Bryce is the record-breaking captain of the Montreal Étoiles, hiding a secret he's barely begun to admit to himself, while Hunter is a younger NHL player who has idolized him from afar for years. When the two meet at an All-Star tournament, an easy friendship quickly turns into something neither of them expected, forcing them to navigate first-time feelings under the glare of professional hockey and media scrutiny. The story blends on-ice drama, including some fairly graphic injury scenes, with a tender, slow-building romance between two men discovering themselves together.
