The Fake Mate

Lana Ferguson

Two wolf-shifter doctors at the same Denver hospital, prickly cardiologist Noah and upbeat ER doctor Mackenzie, strike a deal to pose as mates: she can get her matchmaking grandmother off her back, and he can hide the fact that he's an unmated Alpha from a disapproving hospital board. Their fake arrangement quickly heats up into a real physical relationship, and both have to decide whether what started as a convenient lie has become something they actually want to keep. It's a lighthearted, comedic take on paranormal 'omegaverse' romance built around hospital workplace banter and shifter biology.
