This is a collection of eleven interconnected short stories tracing centuries in the life of the immortal warlock Magnus Bane, from eighteenth-century Peru to modern-day New York. Co-written by Cassandra Clare with Sarah Rees Brennan and Maureen Johnson, the tales weave together Magnus's romances, friendships, and run-ins with vampires, Shadowhunters, and other Downworlders, including his early relationship with Alec Lightwood. Each story is illustrated with a manga-style comic panel. It serves as a companion piece to Clare's Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series.
