Isaac has raised his orphaned niece Sophia alone since his sister's death, but when she is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness he tracks down her biological father, a troubled pro hockey player trying to rebuild his career after rehab. The two men are thrown together to save Sophia, and their growing bond is complicated by grief, addiction recovery, and an eventual custody dispute over the little girl. It's an emotional single-dad MM hockey romance about found family and learning to trust again.
