Assist Me follows a young woman struggling to pay her bills in New York City who lands a high-paying executive assistant job working for Jasper Bates, a wealthy but famously difficult hotel CEO who has burned through every assistant before her. Determined not to fail, she pushes past his cold, guarded exterior, only to discover there's real heat underneath his controlled demeanor. As professional lines blur, she has to decide whether getting close to her damaged, walled-off boss is worth the risk to her job and her heart. It's a classic grumpy-boss, workplace romance built around slowly chipping away at someone's emotional defenses.
