Baseline rating - be the first to weigh in
Slayer follows a young woman who ages out of foster care only to discover on her eighteenth birthday that she's a descendant of vampire hunters after a vampire attacks her and a mysterious hunter named Asher intervenes. She's whisked off to Nightguard Academy, a secretive school that trains slayers, where she must hide a dangerous secret while learning to fight the undead. The story blends academy-style training, monster-hunting action, and a slow-simmering romance with her broody rescuer.
