A grieving young widow named Kayla begins receiving cryptic letters from a stranger named Dante, incarcerated in a state penitentiary, who insists he already knows her intimately. As she keeps writing back out of curiosity, the correspondence grows increasingly intense and erotic even as strange, unsettling events start happening around her home. What begins as a slow-burn epistolary romance twists into a genre-bending mystery/thriller with a supernatural reveal that recontextualizes everything that came before.
