A broke, grieving college student named Rowan infiltrates a hidden demon city to hunt the creature who murdered her mother, only to be mistaken for a dangerous succubus by the city's feared ruler, the Lord of Chaos. Forced into a bargain, she must pose as his seductive partner while navigating demon politics, deadly rivals, and a slow-building attraction to the very demon she's supposed to fear. The story blends urban fantasy mystery with a simmering enemies-to-lovers romance and ends with a major unresolved twist.
