A struggling college student named Shawn, who is raising his two young sisters after their parents' deaths, strikes a risky bargain with his intimidating, aloof professor Derek Rutledge to save his scholarship. What starts as a transactional arrangement quickly becomes an intense, consuming attraction neither man expected or wanted. The story leans into the taboo of a teacher-student dynamic, with a gruff, guarded authority figure slowly letting his guard down for a warmer, more earnest love interest.
