Set during the Golden Age of Piracy, this dark historical romance follows Bennett Sharp, a fierce woman pirate captain fleeing her estranged and unfaithful husband, the rakish pirate Priest Farrell. When she's captured by the coldly controlled Royal Navy commodore Lord Ashley Cutler, Bennett is thrown into a brutal fight for survival that forces her to confront both men who claim to want her. Told entirely from Bennett's perspective, the story follows her through betrayal, captivity, and violence as she tries to reclaim her freedom and her heart on the high seas.
