A Curse Carved in Bone

Danielle L. Jensen

Book 2 of Saga of the Unfated

This is the conclusion to Danielle L. Jensen's Norse-inspired romantic fantasy duology, picking up right after shield maiden Freya discovers that Bjorn, the man she loved, betrayed her on behalf of her enemies. Bound to him by blood oaths she cannot escape, Freya must work alongside Bjorn even as she nurses her fury, all while racing to uncover the truth behind a prophecy that says she will bring ruin to thousands. As war between rival kingdoms looms and the secrets of her divine parentage come to light, Freya has to decide whether to embrace the destiny others have carved for her or forge her own path. Told from both Freya's and Bjorn's perspectives, it blends battlefield stakes, Norse mythology, and a slow-thawing romance.
