A dark, novella-length Beauty and the Beast retelling in which the 'prince' never turns human. Belle's father gambles away his debts and barters her to a monstrous, feral creature who takes her as his bride, and what starts as a forced arrangement slowly becomes a possessive, primal bond. The story leans into stalker-ish devotion, danger from outside threats, and an unapologetically explicit, kink-heavy romance between captor and captive.
