An Honest Lie

Tarryn Fisher

A woman named Rainy has rebuilt a quiet life in Washington state after escaping a desert cult she survived as a child, but a reluctant girls' weekend in Las Vegas threatens to unravel everything she's hidden. When one of the women on the trip vanishes and Rainy receives a chilling message tying the disappearance to her buried past, she must confront the man who destroyed her childhood. The novel alternates between Rainy's present-day crisis and flashbacks to her years inside the cult, building toward a reckoning with her tormentor.
