Sweet Addiction closes out Maya Banks's Sweet series, centering on security-firm employee Cole Madison, who has never stopped thinking about his childhood sweetheart Ren. Ren is now a confident submissive in a long-term D/s relationship with another man, Lucas, and when Cole re-enters her life, old wounds and unresolved desire resurface for all three of them. Told in three alternating sections (Lucas, Cole, and Ren), the story works through a tense arrangement between the men over Ren's future as it builds toward a resolution.
