The Seven Year Slip

Ashley Poston

A grieving New York book publicist named Clementine inherits her late aunt's apartment, only to discover it occasionally slips seven years into the past, where she meets a young chef named Iwan who is subletting the place at that earlier time. As she navigates her present-day life and career while falling for a man who exists seven years behind her, she must reckon with grief over her aunt's death and what it means to love someone whose timeline doesn't match her own. It's a whimsical, bittersweet blend of magical realism and contemporary romance.
