A Black, queer, transgender teenager named Felix navigates his final summer before college at a competitive Brooklyn arts program while trying to uncover who is sending him transphobic messages after his pre-transition photos and deadname are posted publicly. His plan to catfish the culprit for revenge pulls him into an unexpected tangle of feelings with two different people, forcing him to confront his fears about being lovable and worthy of his own happy ending. Along the way he also works through his relationship with his father and his own evolving sense of gender identity.
