Princess Elveena, a light elf who has never encountered a dark elf, attends a royal ball hosted by the reclusive King Arkain and finds herself unexpectedly betrothed to him by night's end. Trapped in his shadowy kingdom, she slowly discovers that the beastly, feared ruler is not the monster rumor made him out to be. As old prejudices between their two elven kingdoms threaten to spark a war, Elvie and Arkain must decide whether their forced arrangement can grow into something real. It's a fast, spicy fantasy romance with Beauty-and-the-Beast undertones.
