A stranded law-school grad named Aubrey and a cocky, charming Australian hitchhiker named Chance end up sharing a cross-country road trip after a chance meeting at a Nebraska rest stop. What starts as a reluctant, banter-filled arrangement of convenience turns into intense chemistry and unexpected feelings neither of them planned for. Told first from Aubrey's perspective and then from Chance's, the story follows the pair through the trip's highs, a painful separation, and Chance's later effort to win her back. It's a comedic, steamy road-trip romance with a memorable animal sidekick along for the ride.
