ThunderClaw is the second book in Penelope Fletcher's Alien Warrior science-fiction romance series, picking up the story of alien King Beowyn and the human woman he has claimed as his destined mate, Sìne, a single mother with a complicated past. The book follows the group on a dangerous interstellar journey from Earth toward Beowyn's home planet, expanding the series' world-building while deepening the unconventional three-way bond between Sìne, Beowyn, and his loyal commander Éorik. Along the way the trio faces hostile alien threats and family complications that test their new 'unit of three.' It continues directly from the first book, Venomous, rather than functioning as a standalone story.
