Hannah, a newly turned werewolf and touring rock musician, struggles to control the anger and cravings that come with her monthly transformation, so she hires Rafe, a stone gargoyle working as a professional companion through the Monster Smash Agency. What starts as a practical arrangement to help her through difficult nights slowly turns into real emotional intimacy as both characters work through past trauma and insecurities about their places in the monster world. The book mixes humor, found-family vibes, and frequent explicit scenes as the two slowly learn to trust each other beyond their business deal.
