An Arcane Study of Stars

Sydney J. Shields

Rejected from the prestigious occult university Cygnus, Claudia Jolicoeur makes a nighttime bargain with a mysterious, demonic figure named Dorian to secure her place there, unknowingly stepping into the shoes of a dead student and a swirl of suspicion. As she investigates the circumstances of that death and the nature of Dorian's imprisonment, she is drawn into a tense rivalry-turned-romance with her sharp, controlling classmate Cassius. The novel blends a murder-mystery plot with a slow unraveling of celestial magic, secret societies, and the costs of desire and ambition within an elite magical school setting.
