In Victorian-era Edinburgh, debutante Aileana Kameron hides a double life as a Falconer, a trained hunter of the fae who killed her mother. When the ancient seal that traps monstrous fae beneath the city begins to crack, she's forced into an uneasy alliance with Kiaran, a deadly fae assassin with his own agenda. As their partnership deepens into something more volatile, Aileana must decide how far she'll go, and what she's willing to sacrifice, to save her city.
