Taken by the Pikosa Warlord

Elizabeth Stephens

Book 7 of Xiveri Mates

This stand-alone entry in the Xiveri Mates series is set on a war- and climate-ravaged future Earth, where a group of cryogenically preserved humans wake up centuries later only to be enslaved by the savage Pikosa tribe. Halima, a linguist who secretly understands the warlord Ero's language, tries to use that hidden advantage to protect her fellow captives and unite the warring human factions, even as Ero is determined to eliminate the threat she poses. What follows is a tense, often brutal battle of wills between captor and captive that slowly turns into something neither expected.
