To sharpen her skills she strikes a deal with Luke Ryder, Briar's gruff new co-captain who has his own reasons for wanting to impress her dad. As their on-ice partnership heats up off the ice, the two must navigate a secret relationship, team tension, and their own personal baggage. It's a banter-filled, grumpy/sunshine college hockey romance set in Elle Kennedy's established Briar University universe.
