Never Keep

Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

Book 1 of Sins of the Zodiac

Set in the same world as Zodiac Academy but generations removed, this romantasy follows two young women on opposite sides of an ancient elemental war who are conscripted to a brutal fortress called Never Keep to have their magic Awakened. As alliances form with sworn enemies and hidden agendas unravel inside the icy keep, both heroines are forced to question loyalty, survival, and who they can actually trust. It's a dark, war-torn academy-adjacent story full of shifting elemental factions, monstrous creatures, and slow-building enemies-to-lovers tension.
