In this queer holiday rom-com, Nicholas 'Coal' Claus, heir to Christmas, is pushed into an arranged marriage with his best friend Iris, the Easter Princess, only for Hex Hallow, the Prince of Halloween, to arrive and challenge him for her hand. Coal quickly realizes Hex is the mysterious stranger he once shared a drunken kiss with, and as the two princes fake a rivalry they can't deny their growing attraction. Along the way Coal must confront his controlling father's manipulation of Christmas and decide what kind of ruler, and partner, he wants to be. It's a fantastical, pun-filled mashup of holiday court politics and slow-building romance.
