In the quirky coastal town of Cape Carnage, Maine, landscaper Harper Starling has a secret side gig disposing of dangerous tourists who threaten her found family. When Nolan Rhodes arrives seeking revenge for his brother's death in a hit-and-run he believes Harper caused, the two predators are forced into an uneasy alliance that slowly turns into something far more dangerous than either expected. Blending dark comedy with a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, the book follows both leads as they juggle body disposal, a nosy true-crime investigator, and an aging mentor whose own dark past threatens to unravel everything.
