Just Drop Out follows Eclipse "Lips" Anderson, a resourceful teenager who escapes foster care and a rough upbringing by winning emancipation and a scholarship to the ultra-exclusive Hannaford Prep. Hoping to keep her head down, she instead draws the attention of the school's wealthiest, cruelest students after a series of unlucky run-ins, and becomes the target of a humiliating "game" run by the upperclassmen. As three particular boys circle her with their own agendas, Lips has to rely on the survival instincts she's honed her whole life to make it through freshman year intact. It's the first book in a dark, reverse-harem series built around power, class conflict, and slow-building tension rather than immediate romance.
