Book 1 of A Marfil Saga

✦ Delights (1) · join to peek

Twenty-something socialite Marfil Cortés is kidnapped in Central Park and wakes up with no memory of what happened, only to be placed under the round-the-clock watch of Sebastian Moore, a controlled, ex-military bodyguard hired by her father. As the danger around her refuses to fade, her resentment of his rules curdles into a reluctant, slow-building attraction that neither of them can fully resist. Told from both of their perspectives, the book mixes romantic-suspense mystery with a forced-proximity bodyguard dynamic, and closes on an unresolved cliffhanger that sets up the next installment.
