My Chameleon Mate

Susan Trombley

Book 1 of Iriduan Universe Love Stories

After a disastrous honeymoon ends with her literally launching herself off her own ship, human heroine Vera crash-lands alone on a forbidden alien jungle world and is taken in by a scaled, tailed native hunter who can't understand a word she says. As the two slowly build trust and communication across an enormous language and biology gap, their bond deepens into something neither expected, complicated by the eventual reappearance of Vera's unfaithful husband. It's a lighter, more comedic spin-off entry in Trombley's Iriduan universe, mixing survival adventure with a slow-building alien-mate romance.
