A standalone entry in Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners universe, this erotic thriller follows a young Kingsley Boissonneault in the late 1980s, years before the events of the main series. Working as an off-the-books agent for French military intelligence, he's sent to infiltrate a secluded chateau where a female-led sex cult modeled on 'The Story of O' is holding his commanding officer's nephew. Once inside, Kingsley is drawn into the power games of the chateau's enigmatic Madame, and the mission forces him to confront long-buried feelings about the one man he's never stopped loving. It's part spy caper, part BDSM character study, revealing a formative chapter of a fan-favorite character's past.
