Ace of Spades

Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

A YA mystery-thriller set at an elite, predominantly white prep school where the two Black senior-class students suddenly find themselves targeted by an anonymous tormentor who threatens to expose their deepest secrets. As the harassment escalates, the two former strangers are forced to team up to figure out who is behind the attacks and why. The novel doubles as a sharp critique of institutional racism wrapped in a propulsive, twisty plot.
