Book 7 of Raider Warlords of the Vandar

Sloane, a human fighter pilot serving with a rebel resistance, is captured by a band of exiled Vandar raiders after her ship is destroyed. Their warlord, Ronnan, sees her as a useful pawn against his enemies and keeps her confined aboard his warship, but the forced closeness slowly turns wary distrust into fierce attraction. As old wounds and a looming war with a rival empire complicate their bond, the two must decide whether to fight their growing connection or embrace it. It's a fast-paced sci-fi romance built around captivity, revenge, and a slow thaw between two guarded people.
