Book 6 of Raider Warlords of the Vandar

Juliette means to stow away on her sister's ship to reunite with her, but ends up trapped aboard a Vandar warbird commanded by Vassim, a warlord the crew calls 'Deranged' because a curse from a dying warlock keeps him from ever truly sleeping. As Vassim tries to decide what to do with his unexpected captive, he begins to suspect the ordinary human woman might be the only one who can break his curse, and their wary standoff turns into something neither of them expected. It is the final book centered on the original Vandar crew, closing out romances begun in earlier installments of the series.
