A burned-out romance novelist named Hazel Hart impulsively buys a fixer-upper in a struggling Pennsylvania lake town, hoping the change of scenery will cure her writer's block after a painful breakup. She clashes with (and falls for) her gruff, animal-loving contractor Cam Bishop while trying to save both her career and the town. It's a banter-heavy, found-family small-town rom-com with real emotional weight underneath the humor.
