Book 1 of Consumed In DC

A dark, politically-charged enemies-to-lovers romance set in Washington D.C. Xolani Carter is a woman who handles dangerous, covert work to protect her sister's mayoral campaign, and she doesn't let anyone get close. When retired assassin Garrett Blackwood moves in next door under false pretenses, meant to dig up dirt on the campaign, the two are drawn into a tense, obsessive attraction that complicates both their missions. As secrets and political stakes escalate, their rivalry turns into a dangerous romance neither can walk away from unscathed.
