Sanna, a blind woman accompanied by her devoted guide dog Kota, is gifted as a bride to an enormous, gentle alien named Breslin after being abducted along with other human women. Instead of the harsh captivity she expects, she finds herself settling into a quiet, almost pioneer-like life with a hero who refuses to pressure her, even as his biology starts pushing him toward a primal 'rut.' The story is a slower, cozier entry in its series, focusing on trust, found family (including a mischievous alien 'horse'), and a romance that blooms gradually rather than through danger or drama. It reads as a standalone comfort read within a larger alien-abduction romance series.
