Robin Page, a shy, bookish sorceress, moves in with her estranged uncle after her parents' deaths and stumbles onto his illegal demon-summoning operation in the basement. When she accidentally binds herself to a rare and dangerously clever demon named Zylas, she's pulled into the hidden Mythic world of guilds, contracts, and dark magic. The book blends humor, danger, and a slow-building bond between Robin and Zylas as she tries to survive her uncle's schemes and the deadly politics of demon contracting.
