Finley is swept up in an underground alien fight-and-pleasure ring on the planet Vishik when she's claimed by a feral, battle-scarred alien warrior. After an accidental mating bond forms between them, she's dragged across the galaxy to his harsh home planet, forced to navigate his hostility, her own fear, and an undeniable physical pull between them. It's a dark, antihero-driven sci-fi romance that leans into captivity and power-imbalance tension rather than the lighter tone of earlier books in the series.
