This is a contemporary workplace romance about Millie, a bubbly entomology curator gunning for a director role at her museum, and Finn, the gruff astronomy curator on the hiring committee who is quietly raising his young nieces after his sister's death. As their forced proximity turns into friendship and then something more, both have to work through grief, old wounds, and self-doubt to let each other in. It's a slow-burn, grumpy/sunshine romance with plenty of banter and found-family warmth alongside its heavier themes.
