After losing her best friend Robyn to heart failure, Ali resolves to complete one final advent calendar of challenges Robyn left for her. The first challenge sends her to a ski resort in the French Alps, where a moment of impulsiveness lands her in a fake-dating arrangement with Leo, the resort's guarded manager who is secretly grieving a loss of his own. As the two work through Robyn's list together, their pretend relationship starts to feel real, even as Leo's hidden grief threatens to complicate everything. It's a bittersweet, grief-forward holiday romance wrapped around a fake-dating setup.
