Something Unexpected follows Beck, an overprotective grandson worried about his terminally ill grandmother's bucket-list adventures, and Nora, her free-spirited travel companion whom Beck initially clashes with. A steamy chance encounter the night before they're formally introduced complicates their already prickly dynamic and sparks an unexpected romance built on banter and chemistry. As their connection deepens, secrets Nora is hiding threaten to derail things just as the couple starts falling for each other. The story blends humor and heat with heavier themes of mortality and family.
