Josie is the last unmated human woman on the ice planet, and she's horrified to discover her fated 'resonance' match is Haeden, the grumpiest, most standoffish hunter in the tribe. Convinced he can't possibly want her and haunted by trauma from her past, she pushes him away even as their bodies keep pulling them together. When Josie runs off in search of a way to break the bond, Haeden has to prove that the gruff exterior he shows the world isn't the whole story, and that he'll do anything to keep her safe. It's an enemies-to-lovers, fated-mates romance full of banter, danger, and a slow-building emotional payoff.
