A Kiss on Kaidava

S.J. Sanders

Book 4 of The Mate Index

After her fiancé Ben abandons her mid-engagement for a local woman while on a business trip to the alien world of Kaidava, heartbroken Cara illegally travels offworld to win him back. She strikes a bargain with Lerix, a roguish Kadesh bodyguard-turned-thief, who agrees to help her track Ben down if she poses as his temporary mate so he can return home. As the pair dodge assassins hunting Lerix over a stolen debt and navigate unfamiliar alien customs, their fake arrangement slowly becomes something neither of them expected. The book blends lighthearted humor with action and a slow-building romance.
