Gloam is the fourth book in Lily Mayne's post-apocalyptic m/m 'Monstrous' series, following a young man named Rig who leaves the relative safety of his camp to travel with a sinister woman known as Collector Mary in order to free a caged, silent monster she keeps chained to her vehicle. As Rig slowly earns the creature's trust and learns to communicate with him, he uncovers the horrifying truth behind Mary's operation and is pulled into a dangerous fight for the monster's freedom. The story blends found-family warmth with a tense, violent survival plot set in the Wastes.
